On Thursday, CEntrance announced that a runaway sinewave has been caught.
Upon capture, the waveform was reported to be distorted and all twisted
up. A crew of technicians thoroughly cleaned the sinewave before returning
it to the lab from where it escaped.
"I've seen many sinewaves in my day, both clean and distorted, but
this one managed to defy the laws of physics. Truly bizarre", noted
Michael Goodman, Managing Director of CEntrance.
The eventual capture followed a lengthy search and rescue mission that
kept the staff puzzled as to the origins of the sinewave. Engineers were
able to trace it back to a generator that was accidentally left on overnight.
The sinewave left clean and apparently distorted on its own. No other
damage has been reported.
